મંડલદસગં લવણે, પણ– નિસäમિ હોઈ ચંદસ્સા મંડલઅંતરમાણે, જાણ પમાણે પુરા કહિયં ૮૩
ચન્દ્રના ૧૦ મંડલ લવણસમુદ્રની ઉપર છે અને ૫ મંડલ નિષધપર્વતની ઉપર છે. મંડલના અંતરનું પ્રમાણ અને વિમાનનું પ્રમાણ પૂર્વે કહ્યા મુજબ જાણ. (૮૩)
Out of fifteen mandalās of the Moon, ten are above the Lavana ocean and five are above the Mount Nishadha. Distance between the mandalās and size of the celestial bodies is as said previously. 83 પણસફી નિસäમિ ય, દુ િય બાહા દુજોયસંતરિયા ! ઈગુણવીસ તુ સયં, સૂરસ્સ ય મંડલા લવણે l૮૪
સૂર્યના ર યોજનના અંતરવાળા ૬૫ મંડલ નિષધપર્વત ઉપર છે, તેમાંથી બે મંડલ (હરિવર્ષક્ષેત્રની) બાહા ઉપર છે અને ૧૧૯ મંડલ લવણસમુદ્ર ઉપર છે. (૮૪)
Out of 184 mandalās of the Sun 65 are above the Jambudweepa. Out of these 65 mandalās, 63 are above the Mount Nishadha and the remaining two are above the ‘Bāhā' [i.e. ending point of Harivarshakshetra]. The remaining 119 mandalās are above the Lavana ocean. ચન્દ્ર-સૂર્ય લવણસમુદ્રમાં ૩૩૦ યોજન અને જંબુદ્વીપમાં ૧૮૦ યોજન પ્રવેશે છે. (૮૫)
Out of 510 yojanās of total orbit path of the Sun and the Moon, 330 yojanās are above the Lavana ocean while 180 yojanās are above the Jambudweepa. 85
