अक्षम उपकरण राजा प्रदेशी ने प्रश्न किया-“क्या कोई बलवान पुरुष अपने शरीर मे लगे पाँच बाणो को एक साथ निकाल सकता है ?" ___ केशीकुमार श्रमण-"हाँ, निकाल सकता है।
राजा प्रदेशी - “कोई बालक या दुर्बल व्यक्ति अपने शरीर पर लगे पाँच बाणो को एक साथ निकालने मे समर्थ क्यो नही होता?"
प्रश्न का समाधान करते हुए केशीकुमार श्रमण बोले-“एक सुदृढ शरीर वाला समर्थ धनुर्धारी एक सधे हुए धनुष से क्या एक साथ पाँच बाण छोड सकता है ?''
राजा प्रदेशी-‘‘हॉ, छोड सकता है।''
केशीकुमार श्रमण-“यदि उस धनुर्धारी का धनुष, प्रत्यचा आदि साधन जीर्ण-शीर्ण, कमजोर हो तो से क्या उससे एक साथ पाँच बाण छोडे जा सकते है ?"
राजा प्रदेशी-- “नही, वह नही छोड सकता।"
केशीकुमार श्रमण- “यही बात तुम्हारे प्रश्न के सम्बन्ध मे समझो। शरीररूपी उपकरण की दुर्बलता से आत्मा के पौरुष मे अन्तर पडता है।"

archer launch five arrows together with a well balanced bow ?” ___King Pradeshi-“Yes, he can"
___Keshi Kumar Shraman-"If the archer's bow, bow-string and other son equipments are old and wasted, can he still launch five arrows together 9”.
King Pradeshı-“No, he can't ”.
Keshi Kumar Shraman—"That answers your question The weakness of the equipment that is the body effects the potency of the soul”
