260. After hearing this example narrated by Keshi Kumar Shraman, king Pradeshi said___ “Reverend Sir ! You are well trained in knowing the situation.
You are intelligent. You know the philosophical principles well. You can very well distinguish between do's and do nots. You are wise. You are humble. You possess supermost knowledge. You can distinguish between right and wrong. You have got education from a real master. Is it then proper for you to use such a harsh,
impalatable, contemptuous language for me, insulting me in such a a large gathering, threaten me in such a manner ?" चार प्रकार की परिषद् और दण्डनीति
२६१. तए णं केसी कुमारसमणे पएसिं रायं एव वयासीजाणासि णं तुमं पएसी ! कति परिसाओ पण्णत्ताओ ?
जाणामि, चत्तारि परिसाओ पण्णत्ताओ, तं जहा-१. खत्तियपरिसा, २. गाहावइपरिसा, ३. माहणपरिसा, ४. इसिपरिसा।।
जाणासि णं तुमं पएसी राया ! एयासिं चउण्हं परिसाणं कस्स का दंडणीई पण्णत्ता ?
ता ! जाणामि। (१) जे णं खत्तियपरिसाए अवरज्झइ से णं हत्थच्छिण्णए वा, पायच्छिण्णए वा, सीसच्छिण्णए वा, सूलाइए वा एगाहचे कूडाहचे जीवियाओ * ववरोविज्जइ।
(२) जे णं गाहावइपरिसाए अवरज्झइ से णं तएण वा, वेढेण वा, पलालेण वा, वेढित्ता अगणिकाएणं झामिजइ।
(३) जे णं माहणपरिसाए अवरज्झइ से णं अणिवाहिं अकंताहिं जाव अमणामाहिं वग्गूहि उवालंभित्ता कुंडियालंछणए वा सूणगलंछणए वा कीरइ, निब्बिसए वा आणविजइ।
(४) जे णं इसिपरिसाए अवरज्झइ से णं णाइअणिट्टाहिं जाव णाइअमणामाहिं वगूर्हि उवालब्भइ।
