जीव भाररहित है राजा प्रदेशी कहता है- 'मैने एक अपराधी चोर को तराजू मे तोलकर उसका वजन किया, फिर उसको शस्त्र से मारकर पुन वजन किया तो उसके वजन मे कुछ भी अन्तर नही पडा। इस कारण मैं मानता हूँ कि जीव शरीर से भिन्न नही है। जीव और शरीर एक ही है।''
समाधान देते हुए केशीकुमार श्रमण कहते है-'राजन् । जैसे शुद्ध हवा से पूरी भरी हुई मशक (धौकनी) को तोलने पर जितना वजन होता है, हवा निकालकर तोलने पर उसके भार मे क्या कोई कमी आती है ?"
राजा प्रदेशी- “नही, दोनो ही अवस्था मे वजन समान रहता है।''
केशीकुमार श्रमण-"इसी उदाहरण से जीव सहित शरीर व जीवरहित शरीर के भार मे कोई अन्तर नही पडता।"

SOUL IS WEIGHTLESS King Pradeshi states-"I weighed a thief in a balance Then I killed him with a weapon and weighed again There was no change in the weight Therefore I believe that soul is not separate from the body Body and soul are one" _Keshi Kumar Shraman explains—“O King ! Have you weighed a leather water-bag filled with air and then after emptying it ? Did you find any change in weight ?”
King Pradeshi-"No, I have done so and found that there is no difference in weight"
Keshi Kumar Shraman-"In the same way there is no difference in weight of a body with and without soul”
