________________ 3. The late doner had spent already Rs. 20000 after a compound for a bunglow with garden, which I was then under construction. The sum of Rs. 25000 was added to it, and a dharmasālā was built therein. 4. This sum is donated, according to the instructions, to the said Seth Ghelābhāi Lalbhai Jaina Kesar-Barās Fund. The donor had not decided how to spend the remaining Rs. 55000, and expired before giving any instructions as to this sum. Late Gulābacand, a worthy son of the donor, asked the trustees of the will of the late donor to spend this surplus sum in some charitable work, and added a sum of Rs. 25000 to it in memory of his revered father. He further instructed the said trustees that they should spend the resulting sum towards some permanent charitable concern. Pūjyapād Agamoddhāraka Acarya (then pannyāsa) Anandasāgar advised the trustees of the will of the late donor, (1) Seth Naginbhāi Ghelābhāi, (2) Seth Kestīcand Rūpcand, (3) Mr. Jivancand Sākarcand, (4) Mrs. Vījkor Mülcand daughter of the late donor) to spend the sum in establishing the present Fund, and Gulābcand tendered his sanction for the same. Hence this Fund was established. The following were its premier trustees: (1) Seth Naginbhāi Ghelabhāi, (2) Seth Kesricand Rūpcand, (3) Mr. Jivaņcand Säkarcand, (4) Mr. Gulābcand Devcand, (5) Seth Fülcand Kasturcand, (6) Mr. Manchubhai Sākarcand.
