For, the former is described as an Achárya of the King of the Goudas (Bengal) and an ascetic by his pupil Chitsukháchárya, whereas the latter describes himself as a resident of the village Mangala3 in the Chola country (Southern India), and adds to his name the epithet 'Mishra' which signifies that he was a grihastha and not a sannyasin.
