Homage to Sambhu comely with the yak-tail fan that is the moon kissing his lofty head, the foundation-column for the structure of the city of the Triple World ! (V. 2.) The blest Harihara's lotus-foot is eternal, and ever causes increase of peace to those who bow down to him in devotion. (V. 3 : identical with verse 1 of C.) (Line 2.) Homage to Narayana ! (LI. 3-4.) When the reign of-hail!-the asylum of the whole world, favourite of Fortune and Earth, great Emperor, supreme Lord, supreme Master, ornament of Satyasraya's moe, embellishment of the Chalukyas, king Tribhuvanamalladēva, was advancing in a course of successively increasing prosperity, (to endure) as long as moon, sun, and stars : (V. 4.) While the blessed Belvala with its multitude of renowned great agraharas, cities, and happy towns and with its abundance of sapful grain and all kinds of treasures shines indeed, as one may say, as the lovely face of the world-renowned lady Kuntala, this bright Pali, an ornament of great agrahāras, is resplendent in that region. This danda is superfluous. * This danda is also superfluous. Those letters are mostly very uncertain : we may rond either ka or ko, and the ya is doubtful.
