________________ It has also been the uncanny experience of some disciples meeting Guruji for the first time, that he knows details about them that he could not possibly have known, and he often answers "unasked questions” and not just the questions which have been voiced by the person meeting him. Amrender Muni Ji's most striking quality is his pure love and compassion which flow like a river quenching the thirst of all the seekers who come to him. This, and the radiant aura that always surrounds him, set him apart as a divine being... a divya swaroopi. Bhagwan Mahavir has said: Dharma resides in the heart which is simple and pure. This can be clearly seen in the persona of our beloved Gurudev. He is far removed from any kind of deception, intrigue, or worldly entanglements. He says what he means, and practices what he preaches. In the scriptures, a saint has been defined as one who is simple, pure of heart, and free of sin. By this definition, Rev Shri Amrender Muni Ji is a true saint. Guruji is never idle- he is always engaged in some work. He does not believe in wasting time. Whoever comes to visit him is spiritually inspired. He never sleeps during the day. Even at night he sleeps very little. Everyday he wakes up at the brahm mahurat ie before dawn and starts his meditation. He does not eat or drink anything without completing his routine of yoga sadhana. He opines that by doing mantra recitation in a disciplined way, one experiences ever increasing bliss. Mantra jap (mantra recitation) is the foundation of success. Extolling the powers of mantra jap, Amrender Muni Ji says that his Guruji would say that the fortunes of a person who recites the mantras will always be on the rise. Such a person gets filled with energy and is able to complete even the most difficult tasks with ease. By recitation of mantras, rigorous penance, meditation and reading the scriptures, Amrender Muni Ji has attained divine powers. shantidoot | messenger of peace 38 Jain Education International For Private & Personal Use Only www.jainelibrary.orgPage Navigation
