________________ This was such a powerful strategy that against it all weapons of the opposition failed. Gandhi Ji felt the pain of the poor and underprivileged very deeply. When India gained independence, and there were grand celebrations in New Delhi, Gandhi Ji spent his time walking from place to place in Noakhali on foot- wiping the tears of the victims of partition who had suffered terrible atrocities. Gandhi Ji always delivered what he promised. He was not interested in discussions and talk and believed instead in action. Shrimati Ila Gandhi was overjoyed to hear these words of praise about Gandhi Ji's philosophy from the mouth of a saint such as Acharya Shri Amrender Muni Ji . She said , “Respected Muni Ji, there are very few saints of your calibre. You have given me much encouragement by talking to me about Gandhi Ji's life and work, and I will also try to contribute whatever I can in this field.” shantidoot messenger of peace 66 Jain Education International For Private & Personal Use Only www.jainelibrary.org
