________________ Nakora Bhairav Jap There are some deities who are propitiated only after a lot of prayers. However, Nakora Bhairavji is not one of those. He is easily pleased and fulfils all types of desires very quickly. Nakora Bhairav is famous throughout India, and the pilgrimage site for Nakora Bhairavji is situated between Jodhpur and Balora. On Saturday and Sunday, one has to chant OM HREEM SHREEM NAKORA BHAIRVAYE NAMAH ऊँ ह्रीं श्रीं नाकोड़ा भैरवाय नमः with the intention that whatever desires are there in your heart should be fulfilled. While doing the jap, it is very important to maintain purity of intent. One should purify the implements of worship (eg the seat, mala etc) the place of worship (it should be clean for 100 paces all around), maintain purity of devotion, and make sure that one chants at the correct time. It is not appropriate to chant at 12 noon or 12 midnight as the devtas shift from one direction to the other eg from West to East or South to North at that time. If one chants at that time, and the pronounciation is not correct, they get annoyed and can harm one or place obstacles in one's path. If these things are taken care of, then the mantra jap yields quick results. It is very important to remember that while chanting any mantra, one should not desire to harm anyone. Ghantakaran Mahamantra Ghantakaran Mahavir occupies a major place not only in the Jain religion, but in other religions as well. They say that in the time that it takes for the sound of a bell (ghanta) to reach your ears, Ghantakaran Mahavir come to your aid. 153 amrender muni ji maharaj Jain Education International For Private & Personal Use Only www.jainelibrary.org
