This mantra also works well to acquire wealth and achieve success in business and administration. One should recite the Ghantakaran mantra 3, 5, or 7 times. It is essential to maintain the purity of asan (seat), clothes, devotion, and diet. Those who do this mantra for attaining wealth should do a certain number of malas on certain auspicious dates ie forty malas on Dhan traiyodashi, Idol of Ghantakaran Mahavir at Dada Bari, Delhi 42 malas on Roop chaturdashi, and 43 malas on Diwali. This jap should be done facing north, on a mala made of coral, or red chandan, while sitting on a red seat wearing red clothes. On each bead of the mala, one should chant the following mantra: 2 EB OM HREEM SHREEM KLEEM THA OM GHANTA KARAN MAHAVIR LAKSHMI POORAY POORAY SUKH SAUBHAGYA KURU KURU SWAHA. ऊँ ह्रीं श्रीं क्लीं ठं ऊँ घंटाकर्ण महावीर लक्ष्मी पूरय पूरय सुख सौभाग्य कुरू कुरू स्वाहा। Ganesh Jap In the traditions of India, Lord Ganesh is regarded as the remover of obstacles and harbinger of prosperity.
