________________ Miracle at the Temple Sevak Shobhna Bahrain I used to go to the ISKON temple everyday. First we would do the mantra jap, then there would be Arti and then the Pujari Ji would distribute the flowers as Prasad. One day it rained very heavily and there was no rickshaw even available because of the heavy rains. I told Lord Krishan Ji in my mind - today I won't get any flowers because Arti will be over by the time I reach..... But I went anyway.. I reached the temple and took off my walking shoes and kept them outside with the socks on top and on top of that my open umbrella so that they would not get dirty. Then I went inside and sat in the little room dedicated to Lord Balaji, next to the Krishna Temple and did my Mantra Jap for 45 minutes. After finishing my Mantra jap I got up to go and put on my shoes. No one was there because of the heavy rains. I went to the place where I had kept my umbrella and lifted it up. There were my shoes just as I had left them with the socks on top and next to them was a white flower! When I told Guruji about it later he said that it was a result of my faith and devotion.. "Yeh aapki shraddha ka natija hai" Jai Gurudev! shantidoot messenger of peace Jain Education International 270 For Private & Personal Use Only www.jainelibrary.org
