Amazing behaviour of a Flowering creeper and Devout cat Padmini Atal Muscat
Muscat, and indeed all of Oman was blessed by Guruji's charan (footsteps) on the 11th of January 2008. He graced us with his presence and all of us who were in his company experienced showers of his divine love and grace. His grace extended not only to us, his human followers, but poured forth on the plants, animals, birds and all the other living things fortunate enough to come into contact with him.
I must relate two inexplicable incidents here which show how even plants and animals respond to his energy and love...
Guruji spent the 15th night and half of 16th January at my house. I was all excited because I had planned to take him out to sea early on 16th morning and show him the Dolphins which are found in Omani waters. However fate had other plans. It rained so hard and the wind was so strong that all the boats were stopped from going out to sea, so we had to scrap our Dolphin watching idea. Instead, we gave Guruji a leisurely breakfast and people came to meet him and ask questions and take his advice.
When Guruji sat on the sofa in the drawing room to meet people, my one eyed cat, Arjun, exhibited the most extraordinary behaviour. My friend Geetha, who was present there saw this with her own eyes and told me about it later....
As is usual with him, Guruji sat cross legged in Padmasana on the sofa. Thus his feet were up on the sofa.My cat jumped up on the sofa, and touched his head to Guruji's foot, and then climbed up into his lap and curled up there.
When I came there later, I saw him sitting on Guruji's lap with folded paws, doing pranam! This was really amazing because he has never ever done this before. I ran and fetched my camera and took a picture... here it is!
