us that Guruji had mentioned to them that he wanted to visit Muscat and stay with their friend who he had met in Bahrain.
And then Guruji walked into our home and our lives..............and took the four of us under his protection. To use a cliché..........the rest, as they say, is history. He has given us so much............financially, spiritually and in every possible way.
He has done so many miracles for me, that it is not even possible to enumerate them...........however two instances stand out which I would like to share with the others.
My niece (daughter of my elder brother) was born with spina bifida, which basically means that she is handicapped and wheel-chair bound. She is 35 now and four years ago she developed a sore which led to blood poisoning. The doctors were not too hopeful of her recovering and we were all very worried. I keep Guruji updated with the various developments in my life, and when the doctors gave up hope, I called Guruji up in New Jersey and told him the seriousness of the situation. He replied in his usual modest way......."Sab theek hojayega.... Main pooja karoonga"(Everything will be alright....I shall pray for her)

And from that moment onwards, she started showing signs of and even the doctors were surprised at the sudden turn around in her condition. It was Guruji's grace and the power of his prayers that saved her life. And now, whenever I tell Guruji, he just smiles and says he did not do anything...it was all God's wish.
The other case happened in late January 2008. Our younger daughter, Rhea was going back to Boston after her winter break. She was flying via Frankfurt where she had a five hour lay over. I received a call from her early morning to inform me that her bag containing her passport, ticket and wallet had been stolen at the airport. I was at my wits end, because without her passport and the relevant visas, she could neither travel to the U.S. nor come back to Oman.
