My Diksha
When I was about 15 years old, I started to feel a yearning. I yearned for Guruji to accept me as his bhakt. It all culminated in an eventful trip of His, to Bahrain. He was gracing somebody's residence for a few hours. I was sitting in the crowd as Guruji was singing the Mangal Paath. Earlier in the day, as well as the previous few days, I had been feeling that I want Guruji to tell me that he wants to give me 'Diksha', instead of me asking for it. As I sat there with my eyes closed and my mind wandering, I suddenly felt a hand touch my head. It was the hand of Bade Guruji. I felt Him telling me that Guruji will definitely give me Diskha and not to worry. I was amazed, but slightly unsure of what to make of the experience.
About three days passed by without me thinking about it much. One evening, as I was walking beside Guruji after his daily evening Pravachan, He told me to come and meet Him before He leaves for India the next day. To my astonishment, He told me that he wanted to give me Diksha. I was amazed. I couldn't believe what had just happened. My experience of feeling Bade Guruji's hand on my head was completely true.
Some years later I told Guruji about the experience I had had before He gave me Diksha. He told me that Bade Guruji had given Him instructions to give me Diksha. Once again I couldn't believe it! It reaffirmed everything in my mind and I was filled with joy.
A Special Blessing
When I was young, I suffered from frequent and severe asthma attacks. Twice it was so severe that I had to be admitted into hospital.
