________________ Power of the Namokar Mantra Prashant Mathur Canada Dec 31 2005 Saar, Bahrain - It was the winter break during my Master's degree program at Queen's University (Canada) and I was visiting my family back in Bahrain. Guruji graced us with His presence by timing his Middle East trip to match our schedules. To usher in the New Year and benefit from Guruji's presence, a 12-hour Namokar Mahamantra chanting session was arranged. Devotees and interested followers were invited and the evening was set into motion. As is customary, Guruji initiated the session and the momentum gathered with time and number of participants. The hours rolled by and the session closing was drawing close. Guruji re-joined the New Year's Namokar party, chanting with us in unison. Upon closure, Guruji graced all present with well wishes and blessings for the New Year. He then proceeded to distribute blessed rosaries ("malas") to us individually, calling us each in turn. It was only after we returned home that we were able to exchange notes with one another about the preceding events and our great fortune to have such a being in our midst on this occasion. "Bliss", "happiness" and synonymous terms were used to describe the session, but I like to sum it up by saying "Guruji dropped the peace bomb on us."
