________________ His Holiness Acharya Amrender Muni Ji and former Governor of Tamil Nadu & Assam, Shri Bhishma Narayan Singh In Acharya Amrender Muni Ji's life, the radiance of his meditation and spirituality have inspired many people to follow his path. Shri Bhishma Narayan Singh, who has been appointed governor five times, is one such devotee. In the present time, the attitude towards ascetic society (sant samaj) and religion is one of disbelief (anastha). At this time, to bind people together in faith and take them forward is a difficult task indeed. Shri Bhishma Narayan Singh is a very wise man whose services towards the country have been praise worthy. When they met to discuss the current state of affairs Shri Bhishma Narayan Singh sought Amrender Muni Ji's advice on how to improve matters. Amrender Muni Ji advised him that “in this difficult period, it is very important for a person to have faith in moral values and principles and it is of utmost importance to endorse such efforts." Commenting on the increase in pollution in the environment, Amrender Muni Ji expressed his view saying that “in every aspect of life, pollution is gaining ground. In the name of progress, we are adopting new methods of industrial activity which unfortunately are contributing to our own downfall. The ill effects of air pollution, water pollution, and noise pollution are staring us in the face. Unless we put a stop to this contamination, it will be impossible to have a healthy environment.
