Shri Arjun Singh sought out the company of Shri Amrender Muni Ji to discuss several burning issues faced by the country. During the discussions, when Shri Arjun Singh requested Amrender Muni Ji for his opinion, Amrender Muni Ji
commented that “You are Guruji with Shri N.D. Tiwani & Shri Arjun Singh anxious about the betterment of the country, and that in itself is a good thing. In my opinion, people who are in a position of power are misusing the position given to them. It is a bitter truth that the politicians today are thinking of feathering their own nests first. The fact is that today their actions are not being guided by their duty (dharma) towards the country. Politics and dharma must go hand in hand.”
"Lord Ram is considered to be the perfect ruler and the period of his rule is extolled as the golden age of Ram Raj. Mahatma Gandhi had a dream of modern Ram Raj. In fact it was not just a dream; he made efforts to translate it into a reality. It is unfortunate that his methods were used only in times of conflict. Destiny took him away as soon as the conflict was resolved. Had he lived a few years longer then definitely there would have been a positive effect of his methods on the ruling government."
