________________ A meeting with Maulana Moosawi in UNO One of the important qualities of Rev Shri Amrender Muni Ji is that he respects the saints and representatives of all religions. He has stated unequivocally that all religions speak of cooperation and religious tolerance. Thus inciting conflict in the name of religion is wrong. During the Millennium World Peace Summit at the United Nations from 28-31 August 2000, Shri Amrender Muni Ji met a Muslim cleric, Maulana Moosawi and had a fruitful discussion about environmental preservation and religious unity. While expressing his views he said, “All religious leaders should try to push for religious unity and while closing the gap between different sects and religions, promote an increase in brotherly love." Rev Shri Amrender Muni Ji also said that to avoid upsetting the delicate balance of nature, it is important to be aware of environmental issues. To stop the increasing bloodshed in the world, concrete efforts should be made for peace. The increasing pollution in the environmentpollution of thought as well as deed - has frightened mankind.
