| ૐ નમઃ સિદે છે श्री जैन श्वेताम्बर कोन्फरन्स हेरल्ड. लोकेभ्यो नृपतिस्ततोऽपि हि वरश्चक्री ततो वासवः सर्वेभ्योऽपि जिनेश्वरः समधिको विश्वत्रयीनायकः। सोऽपि ज्ञानमहोदधिः प्रतिदिनं संघं नमस्यत्यहो
वैरस्वामिवदुन्नतिं नयति तं यः स प्रशस्यः क्षितौ ॥ ભાવાર્થ–સર્વ લોકેથી રાજા, રાજાથી ચકવતી અને ચક્રવર્તીથી ઇંદ્ર શ્રેષ્ઠ છે વળી આ સર્વે થી ત્રણ જગતના નાયક શ્રી જિનેશ્વર ભગવાન શ્રેષ્ઠ છે, જ્ઞાનના મહા સાગર એવા શ્રી જિનેશ્વર ભગવાન પણ શ્રી સંઘને હમેશાં નમસ્કાર કરે છે, એનું આશ્ચર્ય છે. માટે તે સંઘને જે પુરૂષ વરસ્વામીની પેઠે ઉન્નતિ પમાડે છે તેનું પૃથ્વી ઉપર પ્રશંસનીય છે.

I on behalf the Managing Committee of the Jain Students' Social Gathering have great pleasure to place the Report of the first Jail Students' gathering embodying its origin and details.
This is the first time in the history of the Jain Students that Social Gathering comes into existence so there is nothing of past year about this to he recorded and reported for your adoption.
As to its origin, some of my friends assembed & after a pretty long discussion about the subject of the unity amongst the Jain Students cam to conclusion that in order to acheive that end even partially, a Socia gathering of the nature of other gatherings at Colleges & Schools, should be held. This ide: was spread among their brother-students of all the loca Jain Hostels and was approved of by them. A Managing Committee wa
