vi. Pancitā requested Vajrajaugha to meet Śrīmati and relieve her from the pangs of separation. She went on describing the physical charms and captivating graces of Srimati, and appealed to him to rise to the occasion (1, *1-8, 2).
vii. While Vajrajangha stood in the temple mentally perturbed and as if come down from the sky, Pandita spoke to him in conventional poetic expressions how Śrīmats was suffering in separation and spending all her time, with her heart set on him (1, *1-8). He was pleased to hear all this : in exchange for the portrait brought by Pandită, he gave his own portrait which she carried to Srimati. Srimati was thrilled with joy, and highly complimented Pandită on her skill aud achievement. In due course, the parents brought about the wedding of Vajrajaugha and Srīmatī who proved a worthy and lovely couple ( 2-5). They sported happily during all the seasons and made their wedded life quite fruitful. One night, during winter, the windows of their bed room were closed; and they were suffocated to death by the smoke of incense burnt there. Due to their merit of annadana to a Monk, they were subsequently born in the Bhoga. bhūmi (6-7).
viii. They were born as a couple in the Kuruksetra, to the North of Meru, where they enjoyed all the facilities and comforts afforded by the wish-fulfilling trees (Kalpavşkşas ). That Arya had all the luxuries of Indra. One
