E. Anupreksh or reflection is of tivelve kinds : (4) luityanu. pre kşâ or reflection that everything in this world is transient, (6) Agaraņinuprekrá or reflection that there is no other refuge of us in this world, except our own truth, (c) Samsárånupreksh or reflection about the cycles of worldly existence, (d) Ekatranu prekşi or reflection that a person is solely and individually responsible for his own acts, whether good or bad, () Anyatvinupreksa or reflection that non-ego is separate from the ego, (f) Asuchitrânuprekşà or reflection that the body and all that appertains to it is unclean, (g) Asravânuprekşâ or reflection about the influx of Karma, ili Samvarânuprekşâ or reflection about stoppage of the influx of Karma, (i) Nirjaranuproki or reflection about the removal of foreign energies which Irave already entered the soul, 6) Lokanuprekya or reflection about soul and matter and the real substances of this universe, (1) Bolhidurlahlanuprekņā or reflection about the difficulty of attiii.ing perfect faith, perfect knowledge and perfect conduct, and (ti Dharminuprekşâ or constant reflection about the essential principles of the universe. †
O F. Parişaha-jaya or conquering the troubles is the sixth kind of Samvara. The troubles which may afflict a hernit are of various kinds. Gaining victory over all these troubles is what is known as * "अनशनावमौदर्यवृत्तिपरिसंख्यानरसपरित्यागविविक्तशय्यासनकायक्लेशा वाह्यं
तपः।" "प्रायश्चित्त-विनय-वैयावृत्य-स्वाध्याय-व्युत्सर्ग-ध्यानान्युत्तरम् ।"
[तत्वार्थाधिगमसूत्रम् । ९ । १९ । २० ] "बाह्यमाभ्यन्तरञ्चेति मूलभेदद्वयान्वितम् ॥ उपवासावमादर्य वृत्तिसंख्य रसोप्सनम् (?) । विविक्तवासना कायक्लेशश्चेति बहिर्भवम् ॥ स्वा-ध्याया व्यावृत्तिानं व्युत्सर्गो विलयस्तथा । प्रायश्चित्तमिति नेयमान्तरं षविध तपः॥"
[चन्द्रप्रभचरितम् । १८ । १११ -११३ ।] आगत्याशरणससारकत्वान्यत्वाशुच्यानवसंवरनिर्जरालोकबोधिदुर्लभधर्मस्वाख्यातत्त्वानुचिन्तनमनुप्रेक्षाः।"
