________________ ८८ चित्तें बद्धे बज्झइ मुक्कें मुच्चइ णत्थि संदेहो । बज्झंति जेण-वि जडा लहु परिमुच्वंति तेण बूहा ॥ [चित्तेन बद्धेन बध्यते मुक्तेन मुच्यते नास्ति संदेहः । बध्यन्ते येन जडा: लघु परिमुच्यन्ते तेन बुधाः ॥ ] 88 One is bound when his mind is bound. He is released when his mind is released. That by which the ignorant are bound, by the same the wise are quickly released. ८९ मुक्कउ णिच्चलु ठाइ । विवरिउ महु पडिहाई || मुक्तः निश्चलः तिष्ठति । विपरीतः मह्यं प्रतिभाति ॥] 89 बद्धउ गच्छइ दस- दिसिहिँ एवँइ करहा पेक्खु सहि 32 [बद्धः गच्छति दससु दिशासु एवं करभं प्रेक्षस्व सखि When he is bound, he runs in all the ten directions. When he is free he stays motionless. Mark, dear friend, such conduct of the Camel appears to me contrary. पवणु धरिअ अप्पाणु म भिंदहों अरे वढ सहज - गइहें पर रज्जहों [पवनं धृत्वा आत्मानं मा भिन्त अरे मूर्खाः सहज - गत्यां परं रज्यध्वं 90 Do not harass (?) yourself by holding up breath. Do not close the nostril by strenuous efforts. O fool, revel in the Sahaja state, so that you would not get (feel) even the smell of the worldly bondage.
