(21) The night is dark. The mouses are scurrying. The mouse, fond of consuming Nectar eats it. (1). O Yogin, you kill the mouse that is the vital breath, so that both the coming and going are ended. (2). The mouse piercing holes in the Exstence, digs hole in the wall. Known to be restless he destroys the deposit. (3). The mouse is black. It has no (other) colour. Ascending to the sky he drinks Nectar. (4). That mouse moves and jumps till he is rendered motionless, through the instruction of the True Guru (5). When the scurrying of the mouse stops, then, Bhusuku says, the bond is destroyed. (6).

(राग : गुञ्जरी) अप्पणु रचि रचि भव-णिव्वाण । मिच्छे लोअ बँधहिँ अप्पाण ॥ १ अम्हें ण जाणहुँ अचिंतु जो-वि । जम्मु मरणु भवु कइसउँ होइ ॥ २ जइसउँ जम्मु मरणु वि तइसउँ । जीवते मइलएँ णाहि विसेसउ ॥ ३ जसु एत्थु जम्में मरणें वि संका । सु करउ रसह रसाणह कंखा ॥ ४ जे सचराचरु तिअस भवंति । ते अजरामर किंपि न होंति ॥ ५ जम्मे कम्मु किँ कम्मेंहिँ जम्मु । सरहु भणइ सो अचिंतु धम्मु ॥ ६
[संस्कृत छाया] स्वयं रचयित्वा रचयित्वा भव-निर्वाणे । मिथ्या लोकाः बध्नन्ति आत्मानम् ॥ १ वयं न जानीमः अचिन्त्यं यदपि । जन्म मरणं भवः कीदृशः भवति ॥ २ यादृशं जन्म मरणं अपि तादृशं । जीवति मृते नहि विशेषः ॥ ३ यस्य अत्र जन्मनि मरणे शङ्का । सः करोतु रसस्य रसायणस्य कांक्षा ॥ ४ यं सचराचरं त्रिदशाः भ्रमन्ति । ते अजरामराः किमपि न भवन्ति ॥ ५ जन्मना कर्म किं कर्मणा जन्म । सरहः भणति अचिन्त्यः सः धर्मः ॥ ६
