પ્સિને તેના કુળ વિશે કાંઈક વિશેષ પ્રકાશ પાડ્યો છે અને તે કામકકુળના હાવા વિશે ઉલ્લેખ કરતાં એમ બતાવે છે કેન્દ્ર
વળી રૂદ્રદામાની *પુત્રી પેાતાને કામક કુળની ઓળખાવીને ગવ ધરતી હતી. એ પણ એક કારણ છે.
એ કાઈ મક કુળનુ` મૂળ ઈરાન-પાથીયા-ચષ્ટનવ’શના રાજા કહેવાયા.
ના પ્રદેશમાં કામ નદી આવેલી છે, અને ત્યાંના આ લેાકેા રહેવાસી હોય તે તે નદીના નામથી આ વંશનું નામ કામ વંશ પડયુ' હાય એ સાવ સભવિત છે.
અર્થાત આ નદીના નામથી અને પેલા લેખથી એમ માનવાને કારણ મળે છે કે તે મૂળે કાઈ મક કુળના હતા,

ઞઞાતિકના પુત્ર ચષ્ટને તે કામક કુળનું નામ ફેરવી પાતાના નામના વંશ સ્થાપિત કર્યો અને તે પછી ધીર ધીરે તે

ચનના નામ માટે પણ ઘણા મતભેદ હતા. પ્રા. એન્ડીયસના મતન્ય પ્રમાણે પો ભાષામાં ચન શબ્દના ‘માલિક’ અર્થ થાય છે. અને પટ્ટોાષા એ પૂતુર્કસ્તાનની પ્રાચીન શકભાષા સાથે અમુક અંશે સબધ રાખનારી છે.
