Commissioner, Katni wrote: “I congratulate you and your colleagues on the excellent idea of starting the Jain Antiquary, devoted to the study of Jainology, which has not been thoroughly studied upto this time. The vast literature, which the Jaina records contain are extreinely important not only from the Jaina religious point of view, but they are a storehouse of historical information and linguistic morphology which are so interesting to present day scholars of the East and the West. I wish every success to the new Quarterly and to the laudable efforts of its promoters." 5. Prākatana-Vimarsa-Vichaksana, Rao Bahadur R. Narasimhacharya M.A., M.R.A.S. writes : “I am very happy to hear that an Anglo-Hindi Quarterly is proposed to be published to promote the cause of Jainlogy and to foster the study of the subject.........I am greatly interested in the study of Jainism and shall be immensely happy for any steps that may be taken for developing Jain Research......... Wishing you every success in your efforts." 6. Prof. W. Schubring, Ph. D. Hamburg : "I was glad to learn from you that you are about to start, under the title of 'The Jaina Antiquary' a new Anglo-Hindi Quarterly devoted to Jaina Studies. As our own studies, as you know, are devoted to the same object, I am eagerly looking forward to the first number. You would oblige me very much by sending me one or several copies in order that I may obtain an idea of the line on which your journal is started and from which the character of any future contribution will depend.
