________________ Jain Education Intern HARIBHADRA'S BIMBA-PRATISTHA-VIDHI. Without mentioning the present work by name Haribhadrasuri in his eighth "Panchashaka" named "Bimba Pratishtha Vidhi" has adopted many of the verses of the present work altering some partly, and incorporating many with but linguistic changes that took place in the Prakrit language, presumably because of the great interval of time between Padliptasuri and Haribhadrasuri. The learned commentator of Haribhadra's "Panchashaka" Shri Abhayadevasuri has quoted some of the Mangala-Gathas, only alluded to by Haribhadra the author of the work, without any appreciable alteration of language. ३ ॥ STYLE. The author himself in the opening of this work says that the treatise is being written in a clear way (Spashtartha). The diction has the merit of what Rhetoricians call Prasada quality or clarity. The work is written in a pure, homely, concise, and clear style. The author has great command over language For Private & Personal Use Only www.jainelibrary.org
