King Krishna of Mannakhedapura and took up his abode there until invited by King Hala about 49 A. D. If the date of the siege of Broach is correct, Shalivahana mentioned must be Pulomavi I of the Shalivahana Dynasty who ruled from 12 B. C. to 24 A. D. He was the grandfather of King Hala and father of Arishtakarna.
CONCLUSION.
Before I conclude I have to mention that in preparing the text and noting the various readings in foot notes I had in the beginning before me three manuscripts . . & . The first was a copy made by me personally from the original belonging to Shri-Vijaya-Siddhi-Suri which was procured for Shri-JayaSuri through the Devachand Lalbhai Pustakoddhara Fund. As it appeared to be a good manuscript with readings noted in some places in the margin, I used it as the basis of the present text. The press copy was prepared from my copy of the said manuscript. Both the manuscripts . & . as also . later on were procured for me by Mr. Jivanchand Shakarchand of the Devachand Lalbhai Pustakoddhara Fund, and I take this opportunity of expressing my thanks for his kind services. The manuscript. belongs to the Ananda-Pustakalaya, Surat, which is a collection by Shri Sagaranandasuri. This manuscript is as old as manuscript. and bears date S. Y. 1852 Margashirsha Krishna 10th. It represents a different source from Mss. . . &. The Ms. . belongs to Muni Shri Mohanlalji Jnana Bhandara, Surat. It is a quite recent copy and seems to have a common origin with Mss. . & .
