Introduction
Nirvana
I am informed by Shri Jayasuri who has been chiefly instrumental in the publication of this work kalika.
that the said manuscript t. is a copy of a palm-leaf manuscript formerly in possession of Munishri Mohanlalji 20
rgand preceptor of the said Shri Jayasuri. The M8. 9. is newly written and belongs to Shri Vijaya-Siddhi-Suri.
It appears to have a common origin with Ms. . The Ms. . is the best manuscript and is of common origin 1 with manuscripts 4. & 17. It was procured from Shri Hansavijayaji and has been ably corrected by him. The
manuscript was procured from him by my enthusiastic friend Mr. Manilal Surajmal, and I thank them both for furnishing to me this really good manuscript. I also thank Shri Vijaya-Siddhi-Suri Sagaranand
Suri as also authorities of Muni Shri Mohanlalji-Jnana-Bhandara. My friends Messrs Keshavlal Premchand *Modi and Mohanlal Dalichand Desai have been of great assistance to me, the former by supplying rare El references to Padlipta-suri and the latter for many useful suggestions and by procuring a Photo-copy
of Pálitta Chariyam from Kathavali. I may refer the Sanskrit readers to the Sanskrit Introduction by Pt. Ramapati-Mishra who has been for many years connected with Muni Shri Mohanlalji Sanskrit Pathshala, Bombay. In the end I have to mention that it is due to the great zeal of Shriman Jayasuri and his learned pupil Pratapa-Muui for publication of rare works that the present work comes to be the 5th of the series entitled "Muni Shri Mohanlalji Granthamala"
