* Expressed by a symbol. 1 Metre : $18ks (Anashtubh).
• Rend faraka..
Read tilak a.. • Metre: 6:8k (Anushtubh). * Metro: Sragdhard. Originally opdtay was engraved. • Rend (16kih; this correction may have been made already in the original. 30 Metre: sioka (Anushțubb), and of the three following verses. 11 Read varttinah I.
I am not quite sure whether the original bon Kannapah or Kennapah. 13 Originally vijayao was engraved.
14 The words kenadpi gundahu are quite clear in the original; the only meaning which I can assign to them, but which does not quite satisfy me, is by any means (equal to him) in qualities.'
15 This word occurs above, p. 65, 1.7; here the reading of the third akahara (mo) is quite certain. 16 These signs of punctuation are superfluous. 17 Read trimkan
19 Read ttam. 19 This (or possibly Vafa") is what seems to be actually engraved. Considering the construction of the preceding sentence ting dattards for téng... dattam, and the fact that in this sentence we have dattarall. I sin almost certain that ddajabbdydyapi contains the Instrumental case of the name of a woman, perhaps the wife of Sobhana, followed by api. That name may have been Vadajabbd, and, if this was the case, the proper reading would be Vddajabbayedpi, and daltas for dattavati.
