2. Mahāhimavamta A peak of the Mahāhīmavamta(3) mountain. It is five hundred yojanas high. The distance between its highest point and the ground level of the mountain measures seven hundred yojanas.2

3. Mahāhimavamta A mountain situated in Jambuddiva. It lies to the south of Harivasa (1) and to the north of Hemavaya(1), to the west of the eastern Lavana ocean and to the east of the western Lavaṇa ocean. It is two hundred yojanas high, fifty yojanas deep, 4210 yojanas broad and 9276 yojanas long. Its jiya (chord) in the north measures somewhat more than 53931 yojanas and its dhanupṛṣṭha (arc) in the south measures 57293 yojanas.
