સાથે સંકળાયેલી છે. અને તેથી એ પણ અનંત છે. એટલે જે ક્ષણમાં સાચું જીવન જીવે છે, તે અનંતમાં સાચું જીવન જીવે છે. દરેક ક્ષણનો ઉચિત ઉપયોગ, એમાં જ માનવીનું ગૌરવ છે. આત્માનો આગળ જવાનો પ્રવાસ તેનું નામ જીવન.
પશ્ચિમના એક ચિંતકે જીવનની મહત્તાના સંદર્ભમાં જીવન પછીના જીવનની સચોટ વાત કરતાં લખ્યું છે :
'Life can be wonderful at any stage and age. Bodies are not created for immortality in this life.
You get a new body as you get a new garment, when the need arises, It is my belief that our Creator has provided the place as well as the vehicle for us to occupy, just as He has here, when time arrives for us to continue our journey elsewhere.

હરેક મનુષ્યએ મહાપ્રસ્થાનની તૈયારી સમયસર અને સમજપૂર્વક કરવી જોઈએ. બિસ્તરો બાંધી દેવો જોઈએ.
