________________ In Ubhayanayara (P. 509) it is said : "499 wa elfogy TE”. In this way in “Hana Ara:" the termination 'na' is used in the case of the agent. According to Panini the termination' ac' is used in this case. According to Bhasyakara the word 'bhava' is formed by adding 'ac' termination after nyanta. There a commentary named Kasika on Panini's sutras. Therein the word Bhava is established by adding the termination 'na' in the case of the agent, on the basis of " 29 ". Further in the spoke vidhi-vidhi (p. 207 ) it is said :- TAU T ien," After saying this the termination 'na' is used for the agent. But it is not known as to which grammer this " vartika" belongs. But it must be some ancient grammer about which we are in the dark, In "Kasika" tbe observation is: “Hada" This commentator has given the following quatation from "Paniniyasiksa: "3416H SGUT THE " etc.. This siksa consists of 60 verses. It informs us about topics pertaining to pronounciation of lettets The author of this Siksa is not known. At the end of this Siksa there is a salutation to Pani'ni. So it appears that siksa' is not composed by Panini If it is so, its author, too, most be anterior to this commentatator. Or if the three to four verses given at the end of this Siksa are looked upon as interpollations, the author of the remaining couplets can be said to be panini. Scholars may thems vees decide this question. This commentator has quoted a couplet begining with e equitat: Toat: This couplet is connected with Buddhism, and its author is Bhadanta Dinna ( Dinnaga ). Haribhadra Suri, too, has quoted this couplet in Anekantajayapataka' Dinnaga. Dinna, 'Bhadanta Dinna' and Dattakabhiksu are names of one and the same individual. Arya Sivasarman Suri has composed a fascinating work named as 'Kammapayadi. This work is named by venerable Haribhadra Suri os ‘Kammapaydi. Sangani, too. Jinabhadra Gani Ksamasramana has mentioned this work in Visesanavati, According to research scholars this Ksamasramana has composed 'Visesavaya kabhasya' in Vikrama Samvat 666, The second Purva named as 'Agrayani' has 14 sections each named as 'Vastu'. Its fifth section consists of 20 pahudas. Of them the fourth pahuda' is named as Kammapayadi. This Suri has composed "Karmaprakrti" as an extract from it. It is clear that Arya 'Sivas'arman. Suri 1. In the commentary on "Tandulaveyaliya", on the author of this "Payanna is said to be a pupil initiated by Lord Mahavira. २.
