regarding what is defined as different parts of a single muscle or as several muscles. Examples range from 640 to 850.13
Acharya Shivarya further states about skin in some more gathas. The human body is covered with skin which is very thin just like the wings of a Fly. When skin gets burnt, it turns white in color and pus comes out of it. There are seven skins, seven kaliyaka muscles and eighty lakh crores pores in the body.16
Here science is totally unaware of seven kinds of skin. Still they reveal, “The human skin is the outer covering of the body. In humans, it is the largest organ of the integumentary system. The skin has multiple layers of ectodermal tissue and guards the underlying muscles, bones, ligaments and internal organs. Human skin is similar to that of most other mammals, except that it is not protected by a fur. Though nearly all human skin is covered with hair follicles, it can appear hairless. There are two general types of skin, hairy and glabrous skin.'!?
Further they say about pores or sweat glands in human bodyThe number of active sweat glands varies greatly among different people, though comparisons between different areas (ex. axillae vs. groin) show the same directional changes (certain areas always have more active sweat glands while others always have fewer). According to Henry Gray's estimates, the palm has around 370 sweat glands per cm'; the back of the hand has 200 per cm”; the forehead has 175 per cm2; the breast, abdomen, and forearm have 155 per cm; and the back and legs have 60–80 per cm. In the finger pads, sweat glands are somewhat irregularly spaced on the epidermal ridges. There are no pores between the ridges, though sweat tends to spill into them. The thick epidermis of the palms and soles causes the sweat glands to become spirally coiled. 18
Acharya Shivarya reveals more, 'There are sixteen intestines in the small and large intestines. There are seven excreta stores (pits) in human body. There are three humours i.e. wind (vata), bile (pitta) and phlegm (kafa) in the body. There are one hundred and seven sensitive
