नित्यकर्मन् णिच्चकम्मं न० प्रतिदिन का कृत्य; to be observed daily: संध्या morning and evening prayer, तर्पण: presenting libations of water to the Manes or Pitrs. बलिवैश्वदेवः an offering to all the deities (by offering a little food into fire before taking meals), अतिथिसेवा hospitality, वेदपाठ: study of the Veda. होम: making an oblation to the gods by offering ghee into fire. देवयज्ञः देवपूजा - गुरुपास्ति-स्वाध्याय, संयमस्तपः ।
दाणं चेति गृहस्थाणां षट्कर्माणि दिने दिने ।। नित्यकाल, पिच्च - काला, [अ] पुं० अविच्छिन काल; un-interrupted time. म् णिच्चकालं, क्रिवि० सदा; always. नित्यगति, णिच्चगइ, पुं० सदागति, वायु; air नित्यदा, णिच्चआ, क्रिविo always नित्यशः नर्त
