________________ you to get permission from your parents - it is one of the requirements of our Order. Amar tries to obtain permission All the people of Banga wanted to help Amar obtain his parents' permission. So a party of seven prominent citizens set out to Delhi to plead his cause. They returned without accomplishing their objective. Amar's parents were just not willing to listen When Amar heard this he said; Gurudev, since these people have not been able to convince my parents, let me go and meet them myself. Gurudev replied: Amar, when these distinguished people have not been able to convince your parents, how will you do so? Amar replied confidently: Gurudev, before I set forth on my journey, please recite the “ mangalpath” blessing in my ear. With your blessings even the impossible can become possible. Guruji chanted the mangalpath to Amar and then Amar set forth for Delhi with Shri Jagannath Ji. When he reached Ambala he had a flash of intuition. He remembered that his elder sister lived in Ambala. Maybe he could meet her and enlist her help. He turned his steps towards her house. As they entered the house, to his great surprise, he found that his father, mother and elder brother were there. They had come to Ambala on some work. When they saw him, his elder brother, who was a Colonel in the Army, chided him on his appearance. He told him: Amar, what have you done to yourself?
