________________ zizsiz College areas between the years 1943 and 1947 - all in Ahmedabad. Mantra-Writing, Regular Bhakti-Bhajan-Dhun and Reading the following literature contiuned until 1954: The Gospel of Shri Ramkrishna, Ekanath Bhagawat, Gnaneshwari Gita, Upanishads and Bhagwat (translated in English and published, as far as I remember from New York Ramakrishna Mission). In addition to this, vast, inspiring and devotional literature of medieval saints like Kabir, Dadudayal, Meera and others was also read. The above activities were reinforced and enhanced from inspiration imbibed from my respected mother, elder brother Shri Rasikbhai, Smt. Krishna Maiya, Shri Yogacharya Manuvaryaji and satsang sessions with eminent saints like Shivanand Saraswati, Swami Ramdas(Pappaji), Anand-Maiya, Hansrajaji Maharaj. Bindu Maharaj and others. This is the history upto October 1954 A.D. whence Kundkundacharya's Three Ratna (Gujarat-Vidyapith) was studied, which made an ineffable spiritual impact on my entire being and initiated a new ideological thinking in the direction of achieving the eventual goal of life - Self-Realization. Though it was partly hampered by the M.B.B.S. studies, it was mostly in Bombay J. J. Hospital in Dec. 1956 whence 10-12 hours' Sadhana became Jain Education International ■S-6 For Private & Personal Use Only www.jainelibrary.org
