There is side to be an escape tunnel connecting this well to others but I could not confirm this.
For this report I will not provide text on every site I visited having slected and briefly described a number of example above. The forthcoming publication (to accompany the 2008 exhibition) will demonstrate the unusual and specific nature of some sites through digital photography. This report does include images from some of the sites referred to in this text but I can additionally provide a more extensive folder of images if requested. Conclusion
Every aspect of this visit has proved valuable, in some cases exceeding my expectations. I gained access to sites that I could never have found without the support so generously extended to me throughout. I have accumulated far more information that I will be able to assimilate and reproduce in text, however the process of selecting and refining those images that I will we use will prove very interesting indeed. My trip confirms that this area of knowledge is broad and complex and that there is much still to see and learn when the opportunity next presents itself.
