with a copy of the Jain Granthavali. It is a very useful book for the compilation of which you have merited the thanks of all students of Jain Literature. The plan of the work is good, it gives all information which can be expected from a short catalogue. If more information for which the student might desire, were added, it would swell the bulk of the book to an unduly great size. The aiin of the editor of the next edition should be to make the column Foi ? as complete as possible by statistics from such Bhandars as have not been noticed in the 1st edition. If in using the Granthavali I come across mistakes or omissions I shall not fail to give you notice. Of course, the entries in the remaining columns, especially in that headed afh, should be controlled where necessary and augmented when possible + + +
