The process of connecting with one's true self happens beyond words or knowledge. It is a silent guided journey within the self where a strange silence reigns. An empire within where the subtle allows comprehension. A paradise which lives in the midst of chaos. This is what Pythagoras, a Greek philosopher and mathematician wrote in the fifth century BC "Learn to be silent Let your quiet mind Listen and absorb" Blaise Pascal (1623-1662), a French philosohper, mathematician and scientist has also expressed similar thoughts: "All man's miseries derive from not being able to sit quietly in a room alone" (Both quotations from: Wisdom of the Ages, p.1) 4. Preksa and anupreksa What is Preksa Mediation (PM) Preksa dhyana is a technique of meditation for attitudinal change, behavioural meditation and integrated development of personality.
