पित्रोरुपास्तिव्रतसम्पदादि
भूतं महामङ्गलमस्ति लोके । सुदुष्प्रतीकार-महोपकारौ
पूजास्पदं धर्माधियां महत् तौ ॥ ४१ ॥
ચારિત્ર-વતની સાધનાનું પહેલું મહામંગલ માતાપિતાની ઉપાસના છે. જેમને પ્રત્યુપકાર બહુ દુષ્કર છે એવા મહોપકારી માતા-પિતા ધર્માથી જનને મહાન પૂજનીય હોય છે.
