इति स्वल्पं विश्वप्रणतचरितो दुश्चरतपाः
क्षमापारावारोऽखिलजनहिताराधनमनाः । जगवयापि-श्रेयस्कर-विविधवृक्संगममयं
खास स्मृत इह यथाशक्ति भगवान् ॥१०॥
જગદ્દવન્દિત-ચરિત, દુશ્ચર તપની મૂર્તિ, ક્ષમાસમુદ્ર, વિશ્વહિતના આરાધનમાં નિમગ્ન અને દુનિયાભરને કલ્યાણકારક થાય એ વિવિધ દષ્ટિઓના સમન્વયથી સંપન્ન માર્ગ બતાવનાર એવા મહાપ્રભુ મહાવીરને આ પ્રમાણે (આ પ્રબન્ધમાં) યથાશક્તિ કંઈક યાદ કર્યા.
In this way, according to my capacity, I have tried a little to remember Lord Mahavira, whose life has been rovered by the whole world, who had practised the top-most penance, who was an ocean of forgiveness, who had but one mind, namely, to accomplish the good of all, and who has taught the path which is universal, is beneficial to all and towards which all the systems of philosophy converge. ૧૦૪
