उवाच वीरः सुगभोरघोषै
भो भो जनाः ! सम्यगवेत सत्यम् । सत्यस्य पद्यामवलम्ब्य धीरा
स्तरन्ति मृत्यु समपास्तपापाः । ७७ ॥
ભગવાન મહાવીરે ગંભીર ઇવનિથી ઉપદેશ કરતાં કહ્યું હે મનુષ્યો ! સત્યને બરાબર સમજે ! સત્યને માર્ગ પામીને ધીર આત્માએ તમામ પાપથી મુક્ત થઈ મૃત્યુને તરી જાય છે.
With the deep resounding voice has Lord Mahavira preached: Oh men, know well what the truth is. It is by taking to the path of truth that people wash away all their síns and conquer death.
