नाना व्यवस्थात उवाच चेतनं
भिन्नं प्रतिक्षेत्रकमंगमात्रगम् । अनन्तचिद्वोर्यसुखं स्वरूपतः

ભગવાન કહે છેઆત્મા નાના છે, કેમકે તે જ વ્યવસ્થા શક્ય છે અને શરીરે શરીરે ભિન્ન છે, કેવલશરીરવ્યાપી છે અને સ્વરૂપે અનન્તચિત-વીર્ય–સુખરૂપ છે. એ પોતે જ પિતાની તથાવિધ દશાથી કર્મો બાંધે છે અને ભગવે છે. (જીવ
સ્વયં કર્મ કરે છે, બાંધે છે અને ભગવે છે. એમાં “ઈશ્વર” નામના તત્વને કંઇ જ અભિસંબન્ધ નથી.)
