दिदेश पीरो महतीमहिंसा
संन्यासिनां गेहवतामणुं च । संकल्पतः 'स्थूल शरीरभाजां
निरागसां हिंसनवर्जरूपाम् ॥ ६२. ।।
મહાવીર દેવે અહિંસાનું મહાવત સંન્યાસી જીવન માટે બતાવ્યું છે, જ્યારે ગૃહસ્થ માટે અહિંસાનું આણુવ્રત જણાવ્યું છે. ગૃહસ્થ માટે પ્રરૂપાયેલી “અણુ” અહિંસા નિરપરાધી
સ્કૂલ” (“ત્રસ”) પ્રાણીઓનાં ઈરાદાપૂર્વક હિંસનથી વિરમવામાં સીમિત છે.
Lord Mahāvīra has ordained non-violence for all-extra-ordinary non-violence for ascoties & ordinary one for householders. And that ordinary non-violence consists in not. intentionally killing innocent animals.
