Besides the inscriptions, both on the pedestals of the images, foot prints &c. of the Tirthankers and tablets ( Pra. slastis,) memorating the erection and repairs of these Temples and Dharamsalas, all bear unmistakable testimony to the fact that all these rightly belong to the Shwetambari community. These inscriptions and tablets find additional support from Firmans and Sanads of the Mogul Rulers of Indie, embodying in them the Imperial declaratious of the by-gone days, stating out rights and privileges which the Shwetambar's could only enjoy to the exclusion of any other. It is true that some people had the audacity to question the authenticity of these historic records but I am glad to mention that none of these curious questioners, had any moral courage to prove the spurious chara. cter of these invaluable records as alleged. Licensed slanderer's are always found in every clime to be gifted with fertilo tongues to turn in any direction to cloud or hide the truth, little knowing that they will have to disappear like cobwebs before the scorching rays of the sun rising in the meridian.
Now in the face of these overwhelming evidence, I ask who has been the aggressor who has been undormining the soul of the wholo Jain con.munity and eating into the vitals of our well-being? Can uot any compromise, any amicablo settlement be arrived at and bid good-bye to the courts of Law in matters religious especially. If it is possible, it is high time after so many conferences of both the Sects that it should be attempted at once. Let a committee be created out of the responsible followers of both the sects and powers be delegated by them to the members constituting the committee to meet and discuss out the best solution possible without violating any one's traditioual rights and control and chalk out as well our lines of action that will not only settle once for all the vital issues involved but will make a double conquest at each step it will take, in case any reasonable compromise be found impossible in as much as it is out of question to give up one's traditional rights over a thing simply for the obduracy of another.
