breath of breaths: rise above all quarrels which are results of ignorance: spread education in the name of religion and try to make it prac: tical, useful and perfect.
A vast change you will notice in the state of humanity: you will feel vibrations of spiritualism in the atmosphere and time will come when you will get whatever you want through your own Will, as we used to get from Kalpa Vraksha in days of yore. Peace and prosperity will be restored and India the mother of
religions shall then be shining its spiritual lights and shall regain its original status and civilization. To do all this we need only a dozen of spiritual souls, who would prefer to renounce their material happiness in order to deserve and claim eternal happiness and bliss in the kingdom of heaven, only a few benevolent souls like that of Danvir Sheth Maneckchandji who would give their wealth in the cause of education and in the service of humanity and their venerable names will for ever be inscribed in the annals of the histories

सुशिक्षित करवाना उपाय.
હે મારા જૈન સમાજની ઉન્નતિ કરવાને આતુર ભાઇ ! તથા મારી અજ્ઞાન અધ કારમાં પડેલી વ્હેન ! તથા વન્નિ માતાઓ!
આજે આપણે ઘણાજ આનંદ માનવા જોઇએ; કેમકે કાળરૂપી ચક્ર સને માથે ભમે છે, તેમાંથી ખચીતે આપણે નૂતન વર્ષ માં પણ કૃત્ય કરવાને સાજા તાજા' ઉપસ્થિત છીયે, તે તેની ખુશાલીમાં “જૈન સ્ત્રીસમાજ સુશિક્ષિત ફ્રેમ થાય” એ વિષય પર આપણે વિચાર કરીશુ. સુશશક્ષા એટલે સારી કેળવણી આપવી તે. જેવી રીતે ધઉંની કણકને જેમ જેમ કેળવીએ તેમ તેમ નરમ અને સક્રાઈદાર રેાટલી અને છે તથા તેનાં નાના પ્રકારનાં પકવાને પણ કેળવણીથીજ બને છે, તેવીજ રીતે નાનપણથી પુત્રીને જો કેળવણી આપીયે, તેા તેની અંદર નમ્રતા વિગેરે નાના પ્રકારના સદ્ગુણા આવે છે અને પિતાના ધરનું તથા શ્વસુરના ધરનું એક અલૈાકિક ઘરેણ બની જાય છે. સેાના ચાંદી તથા હીરા માણેક મેતીનાં ધરેણાં તે ભય ઉત્પન્ન કરે છે, પણ આ ધરેણું કુટુંબને તેમજ આખા જનસમા જને હિતકારી થઇ પડે છે. આથી ઉલટુ’ જ્યારે સ્ત્રીઓને અભણ રાખવામાં આવે છે ત્યારે તેઓ તથા તેનાં કુટુબીએ તેના હઠીલા સ્વભાવથી તેના અસભ્યપણાથી શુાજ દુ:ખી થાય છે. તેમજ અગ્રણ સ્ત્રી પાતે પણ દુ:ખી થાય છે અને આખ્યાન તથા રો ધ્યાનના પ્રભાવથી મરીને ન ચેનિમાં જઇ જન્મ લે છે. આવી રીતે
