• उत्तर २०४-गोयमा! एवं जहा पडिक्काममाणेणं एगणपण्णं भंगा भणिया.एवं संवरमाणेण वि एगणपण्णं भंगा भाणियन्वा।।
A. 204 Repeat for desistirg in the present the same 49 forms as stated above for atonement for anything done in the past.
प्रश्न २०५–अणागयं पच्चक्खमाणे किं तिविहं तिविहेणं पच्चक्खाइ !
Q. 205 Bhante ! In renouncing for the future, does he renounce by three modes and means three ?
उत्तर २०५~गोयमा! एवं तं चेव भंगा एगूणपण्णं भाणियव्वा जाव.... अहवा करेंतं णाणुजाणइ कायसा ।
A. 205. Gautama !

प्रश्न २०६-समणोवासगस्स णं भंते ! पुवामेव थुलए मुसावाए अपच्च-. क्खाए भवइ से गुणं भंते ! पच्छा पच्चाइक्खमाणे... ?
Q. 206. Bliante ! If a follower of the śramāna path has not renounced falsehood in general in the beginning, but later when he renounces it, what does he do ?
उत्तर २०६–एवं जहा पाणाइवायस्स सीयालं भंगसयं भणियं तहा मुसावायस्स वि भाणियव्वं। एबं अदिण्णादाणस्स वि एवं थूलयस्स मेहुणस्स वि थूलगस्स परिग्गहस्स वि जाव...अहवा करेंतं णाणुजाणइ कायसा। एवं खलु एरिसगा समणोवासगा भवंति णो खलु परिसगा आजीविओवासगा भवंति।
. A. 206. Repeat for falsehood the same 147 forms (i.e.. 49x3 for the past, the present and the future) as stated above for slaughter. So also for usurpation, sex behaviour and possession. The followers of the śramana path are all like this ; the followers of the äjivikas are not like this.
