प्रश्न २६४–छव्विवंधगस्स णं भंते ! सरागछ उमत्थस्स कइ परीसहा पण्णत्ता?
Q. 264. Bhante ! How many hardships operate in a chadmasta ( a fresher monk ) with attachment who has the bondage of six types of karma ?
उत्तर २६४-गौयमा ! चोद्दस परीसहा पण्णत्ता बारस पुण वेएइ । जं समयं सीयपरिसहं वेएइ णो तं समयं उसिणपरिसहं वेएइ जं समयं उसिणपरीसहं वेएइ णो तं समयं सीयपरीसहं वेएइ। यं समयं चरिया परिसहं वेएइ णो तं समयं सेज्जापरीसहं वेएइ जं समयं सेज्जापरिसहं वेएइ णो तं समयं चरियापरिसहं वेएइ।
A. 264. Gautama ! Fourteen, but at a time only twelve are operative. While hardship due to heat is in opera ion, that due to cold is in abeyance, and vice versa ; and while hardship due to wandering is in operation, that due to rest is in abeyance, and vice versa.
प्रश्न २६५–एक्कविहबंधगस्स णं भंते ! वीयरागछ उमत्थस्स कइ परोसहा पण्णत्ता?
Q, 265. Bhante ! How many hardships operate in a chadmasta without attachment who has the bondage of a single karma ?
उत्तर २६५--गोयमा! एवं चेव जहेव छव्विहबंधगस्स ।
A. : 65. Gautama ! Similar to one who has the bondage of six types of karma.
