(6.) जीवा चेव गमणपरिणता पोग्गला चेव गमणपरिणता । दुविधा गती : पयोगगती य वीससागती य ।
6. जीव गतिशील है और पुद्गल भी गतिशील है । गति दो प्रकार की है - 1. प्रयोगगति और 2. विस्रसागति ।
6. The animate things have destiny, the inanimate things too have destiny. The destiny is of two types, applied and natural. (7.) जीवाणं चेव पोग्गलाणं चेव ।
7. ये दोनों— प्रयोग गति और विस्रसा गति जीव और पुद्गल दोनों की होती है।
7. Both animate and inanimate things are capable of following both these destinies.
(8.) उदइयपारिणामिए गतिभावे ।
8. औदयिक और पारिणामिक गति का भाव है।
8. Spontaneous and resultant are the two forms of destiny. (9.) गम्ममाणा इति गती ।
9. गमनशील होने से इसे गति कहते हैं ।
9. There is mobility and hence it is called destiny (Gati). (अ.) उड्ढंगामी जीवा, अधगामी पोग्गला ।
(अ) ऊर्ध्वगामी (विकासोन्मुख ) जीव होते हैं और अधोगामी पुद्गल होते हैं।
A. Animate things evolve and inanimate things degress. (ब. स.) पावकम्मकडे णं जीवाणं परिणामे, पावकम्मकडे णं पुग्गलाणं ।
ब-स. पापकर्मशील जीव परिणाम (मानसिकभाव) से गति करता है। पापकर्मशील जीव पुद्गलों की गति में भी प्रेरक होता है।
B & C. Indulgence in evil deeds results in movement towards destiny. Evil doer also pushes inanimate things.
